Dig the goodness. I really like this record, and it was the utmost fun to master. It was a Friday, it was loud, and I grinned a lot. Also made a mark on my desk with my wedding ring because of the air drumming. Well. Desk drumming. You know what I mean. Records from Jason Rauch are always fun. Dude brings the rock properly.

Hey! Look! Another #1 on the Radio and Records charts. This time it’s Jason Gray’s single, “Nothing Is Wasted”, brought to us by the nicest people in the world at Centricity Music. I’ve done many, many songs for Jason, and they usually manage to stick in my head for a while. This is no exception. Check out the video and the silky smooth delivery of what sounds like the most relaxed dude on the planet.
Yeah, it’s been forever since I’ve done one of these. Time to catch up people…’cause there’s a Numero Uno position held by Spoken’s single “Through It All” on the Radio & Records Christian Rock Chart. See, that’s fun, because I mastered it, and it kinda seriously rocks. Also fun is the little app to make the little circles over there. Fancy. I know. Hey party people. Been a busy few weeks, so not so much blathering on the page here. Good times, good times. I hope you’ve missed me. If not…well. Ok.
So this is fun. Big Daddy Weave’s song “Redeemed” is a humongous hit. It’s high in the iTunes chart for….well…ever, it’s been there for months, and now they’re at #1 on the Radio & Records Christian AC Chart. That’s fun, right?!?! I figured you should know. Of course, I didn’t write the song. I can’t write a grocery list. But I sure did master that bad boy, and I gotta say…I’m pretty happy with it. Maybe you should go check it out on iTunes.
Congrats to Brian “Head” Welch and his band Love & Death. We mastered their “Chemicals” ep, and the title track is rockin’ the number one spot at christianrock.net’s top 30. Great for them, and what a nice guy Brian is. Sweet Camaro too.
