Dig the goodness. I really like this record, and it was the utmost fun to master. It was a Friday, it was loud, and I grinned a lot. Also made a mark on my desk with my wedding ring because of the air drumming. Well. Desk drumming. You know what I mean. Records from Jason Rauch are always fun. Dude brings the rock properly.

Hey! Look! Another #1 on the Radio and Records charts. This time it’s Jason Gray’s single, “Nothing Is Wasted”, brought to us by the nicest people in the world at Centricity Music. I’ve done many, many songs for Jason, and they usually manage to stick in my head for a while. This is no exception. Check out the video and the silky smooth delivery of what sounds like the most relaxed dude on the planet.
Yeah, it’s been forever since I’ve done one of these. Time to catch up people…’cause there’s a Numero Uno position held by Spoken’s single “Through It All” on the Radio & Records Christian Rock Chart. See, that’s fun, because I mastered it, and it kinda seriously rocks. Also fun is the little app to make the little circles over there. Fancy. I know. What can I tell ya. I love the heavy stuff – if it has a good melody, riff and kick drums, I’m a goner. I mastered the new album from Spoken a few months ago – it’s finally out and rocking heads off with a tidy balance of all these things. Jasen Rauch produced it. He’s pretty awesome. Ainslie Grosser mixed it. He rocks too. The first single is currently #2 on the Radio & Records Christian Rock Chart.

So this is fun. Big Daddy Weave’s song “Redeemed” is a humongous hit. It’s high in the iTunes chart for….well…ever, it’s been there for months, and now they’re at #1 on the Radio & Records Christian AC Chart. That’s fun, right?!?! I figured you should know. Of course, I didn’t write the song. I can’t write a grocery list. But I sure did master that bad boy, and I gotta say…I’m pretty happy with it. Maybe you should go check it out on iTunes.
SOOOOoooooo….I kinda didn’t know there was this “Soft AC / Inspo Chart” at Radio & Records. I suppose I should have been looking, because Big Daddy Weave have a second week number one chart position with “Redeemed” that I mastered. THAT’S AWESOME. I love that. Also, climbing her way up is Meredith Andrews with her single “Not For A Moment (After All)” – Exciting to see projects from all over the year populating all over the charts.

I’ve had a pretty hectic couple of weeks, filled with Christmas crooning, dance beat pounding, punk rock shredding and some earthy indie stuff occupying my days. So I’ve not been up on the charts. The time to rectify that is right…now.
So what have we here?
It seems that Big Daddy Weave have the #4 spot on the iTunes Christian & Gospel Chart. That’s fun. This song and album have been around for a long time. Congrats to them for some nice longevity. It’s great when a song catches people so widely.
